In May NYPD shot and killed 25-year-old Rameek Smith, after they claimed he fired a gun at them. Eric Adams hailed the cops as heroes and called Rameek a career criminal.

Now bodycam video shows Rameek never fired a gun, and the cops shot him in the back as he was running away.
