I think I hooked up the rel="me" on my website. Is something magic supposed to happen now? Did I do it right? How can I know?
Would adding rel="me" to the twitter and GitHub links make sense? Only if I link them from mastodon profile? Or not even then?

@RonJeffries never tried it because I didn’t understand what it was for.
@francis @RonJeffries https://www.zylstra.org/blog/2018/10/mastodon-rel-me/ suggests you do it on both ends but that's the only link I could find (and it won't work on Pleroma anyway.)
