The idea that millions and billions of people want to come to this neoliberal hellhole, that pays the worst pensions and benefits in Europe and is run by people who partied while people died of Covid, is hilarious.
But I ain't laughing.
@francis Their claim of 100 million seems a little high given the population is only, what, 70 million? But then if they'd said 10 million, it probably wouldn't generate as much froth from the gammons...

@zimpenfish I think it's a figure taken from a report on displaced persons, and then they assumed they'd all want to live in England. It's all of a piece with those leaked messages revealing Johnson can't count.
