Pleroma feature request: No more than N posts from a single user in the Federated Timeline. Otherwise you can end up with one account seemingly "taking over" and it looks awful.
@zimpenfish Is pleroma better? I find Ruby masto a but resource hungry.
@francis Haven't tried the Mastodon itself (the requirements put me off) but Pleroma is doing ok (although oddly using 15% CPU atm.) Definitely worth a look.
@zimpenfish I initially did Digital Ocean's smallest machine, but had continuous RAM warnings so doubled it. Warning were just that, though. Still ran.
If you're not a linux/Rails head upgrading to the latest is interesting. I used a prebuilt one and it was alright.
@francis There's a PleromaPi image which I guess tells you how little you can get away with for it 😀

@francis I'm mostly waiting for GotoSocial to fix up a couple of federation/client issues and then I'll probably switch to that - single Go binary + SQLite.
