Universal basic income should be a thing. Someone shouldn’t have to work 2 jobs to make ends meet. This should not be the norm. This is a byproduct of a capitalistic and classist society. Let’s not glamorize the idea of working and letting our work get in the way of self care and family time. Your health is more important than any job that possibly exists. Universal basic income is not to make people ‘lazy,’ it’s to protect them from being overworked and broken.
