My MP, Tory, Sarah Atherton, rammed Brexit down the throats of the people of Wrexham - will she now apologise for the lies and broken promises and explain her plans to make up for the EU money that Wales lost?

The £120m “Festival of Brexit” is a flop, attracted only 238,000 visitors instead of the anticipated 66m.

I wonder how many were stuck in queues at Dover, in the 6.7m NHS England waiting list and sewage-packed rivers

Still, Tory cronies got the contract.

RT🔒It's very funny watching them try to replicate the Blairite march through the institutions and having nobody to turn to except weird crusties and student politics nerds theguardian.com/culture/2022/a

The Labour Party are against Nationalising our essential utilities and are for more private capital in the NHS, they don't want a change of governance, just a change of management.

Elizabeth Truss is an anagram of Haziest Bluster.

I didn't sleep very much last night.

Once a business has generated enough revenue to match what was invested in it, plus a reasonable profit (say) - why do the share holders still matter? Why shouldn't they relinquish their shares to the people who do the actual work?

Well, we know why.

And the bosses are proxies for owners so get similar rewards.

Maybe I just don't understand

What do the execs in the big corporations actually do to justify their salaries in the millions?

Business is about knowing how to serve customers repeatably and reliably. The CEO (or whatever) isn't doing the serving, or designing the processes.

So what are they for, in fact?

Without further Govt support we will see the biggest single year drop in disposable income - and living standards - since records began twitter.com/resfoundation/stat

Having highlighted the scandalous level of Tory induced poverty in UK society, Tory troglodyte’s attacking me and accusing me of being ‘jealous of the wealthy’. No, I’m just incensed that in 2021, two thirds (65%) of children in poverty lived in a working household. Levelling Up?

In Liz Truss's Britain, coked-up City Boys will be able to drive Lamborghinis at 200 miles an hour while pensioners wait 40 hours for an ambulance

The collapse of Tory unionism continued. Tory member asks at hustings: "How will you suppress Nicola Sturgeon?"

RT @UniteSharon
Stansted and MAG expected our members to make financial sacrifices during the pandemic and they expect them to do the same thing now during the cost-of-living crisis. Our members won’t stand for it and they will receive Unite’s full support. 👉

There is mass strike action and a cost of living crisis going on *right now* but Keir Starmer’s answer is to say ‘just wait 2 years until there is an election’.

The bare minimum response should be ‘we will stand with you’ yet he can’t even say that. Starmer is useless. twitter.com/labourlist/status/

The majority of the public support strikes.
The majority of the public support nationalisation.

None of the the major political parties support either.

The majority of the public needs a new political party to represent it.

…we are an independent non-profit and rely on members to power our work.

The NHS is in the worst state it’s ever been; we’ll be fighting so hard this winter to advocate for patients and staff. We need more members and we need them now 🚨
