Given the Tories prioritised the maintenance of profits under the varying conditions (from recession to lockdown) across their years of Government, we cannot be surprised that the TUC will seek to 'restore' pay levels (and living standards) to levels last seen around 2010..
However, of course while 'maintaining' profits is seen as a legitimate business policy, restoring living standards for workers is seen as special pleading & exceptional (now even by Labour).

When you use a terminal window you press Esc all the time if you know how to do command line editing - which I do.
It's a stupid default
