The "we are focused on growth" excuse for the cut in tax for the rich in general and bankers and property investors in particular is like "the dog ate my homework".
It is not even meant to be believed.

Labour left vow fight-back after Starmer speech

It's time they broke away and formed a new, actually socialist, party. Work with the greens and SNP, take the sensible unions as affiliates with them. They'll get a lot of Labour members switching too.

It'll force Labour to adopt PR and accept they can't win alone. We'll get a coalition against the Tories and actual socialist influence in government.

Seriously, how many more revelations about the true nature of UK governance do centrists need before they realise that British "democracy" is a sham and cover?

Keir Starmer supporters are now saying people who don't support Starmer have mental health issues.

It is dirty, gutter politics. It is very American. Do we really want this type of toxic poison in our politics?

I think not.

Just in case people haven’t realised the Bank of England have saved your pensions from being worthless
It was @trussliz & that were prepared to sacrifice them to be able to give people on £150k+ a tax cut

Wow. Rafael Behr, Guardian columnist, thinks the hilarious 'Labour antisemitism crisis' fraud was *real*.
He really, really does.

I think "liberals" who talk left, but vote right are worse than liberals or Tories who talk right and vote right.
