Forever re-learning to distinguish between "people who talk about privilege as a way to interrogate and potentially fix some of the fucked up parts of the world" and "people who tag you with privilege as a way of rendering you beneath them".

Obviously, one of these is good and welcome and to be encouraged. The other is yet another contemptible type of person. Learning to tell the difference takes way more effort than it should.
