If you mean we're outside the EU with low growth, high inflation and a government that wants to bring back imperial measurements and grammar schools, then yes.

We all know that the meta verse will be anodyne crap but with VR. Anything that might offend the money won’t feature.

Yesterday's French election shows that the only way the Left can make a difference is if it shuns the delusional quest for the approval (or, at least, toleration) of the oligarchy-sans-frontieres. Only then can it take on both varieties of authoritarianism (centrist & fascist)

Fact is, the Johnson government recently granted Murdoch release from a binding agreement that kept him from exercising direct editorial control at The Times.
Now, if Murdoch were to order a story expunged because it embarrassed a political chum, expunged it would be.

Some gullible Tory supporters actually believe this is a choice between private and public healthcare.

It’s not.

The NHS won’t suddenly disappear and then we get our tax money back to spend on health insurance.

We just end up paying for both!

RT @MarinaPurkiss
So nuts that you can find yourself debating on Twitter…

With someone defending a Govt that is making their life worse

While you’re arguing for a Govt that would make their life better

Wild

Bread is up 13%; baked beans are up 21%; pasta is up 48% and energy costs are up 54%.

For ordinary people real inflation is over 20% and climbing.

Finally had all of the parts for my roof rack on my old Mazda. It’s approximately a centimetre too wide to fit across the back. I know these are the right parts because they were based on the registration of the car.

The car is going to go now. It’s nice, it had very low mileage when I got it, but if I can’t put my canoes and stuff on it it may as well be a Christmas tree ornament.

Sigh

I don’t think this is true. I think it’s the usual blame shift from the real culprits.

Listen up Starmtroopers:

Nobody is "enabling the Tories" by pointing out how bad Starmer is as Labour leader (it's completely obvious to everyone)

You lot are "enabling the Tories" by insisting that Labour go into the next general election with this absolute dud in charge

Had my first coffee-induced "anxious, but faster" panic attack last night.

Speaking as someone who (usually) doesn't drink coffee, I'm constantly astounded by how socially accepted caffeine is.

As a drug, it fucking sucks.

RT @context_warden
Can I request any lectures on the need for the left to "unite to beat the tories" be forwarded to @Keir_Starmer. He obviously didn't get the memo. Thx.
