"We are in crisis. We can not afford to carry on like this."

Extinction Rebellion have superglued themselves around the Speakers Chair inside the Commons chamber.

My elders grew up at a time when there were certain roads you couldn't walk through because you'd get your head kicked in by racist thugs. They organised to physically defend our communities from racist attacks. It's not a sub-genre of academia for us- it's our lived experience.

@VickyMiller74 Vicky, it’s not difficult to find out which school you work at and identify the children you’re referring to.
That isn’t something have any interest in doing btw!
But you just doxed a vulnerable child.
You should be disciplined for that tweet.

This editorial was written by the Campaign Against Racism & Fascism (CARF) IN 1992. Based on decades of experiences accrued in necessarily autonomous antiracist struggle. After needing to leave existing antifascist groups. "The left" in Britain *refuses* to learn. twitter.com/ChardineTaylor/sta

Congrats @Naomi4LabNEC on getting elected! I know her as a TU activist, committed anti-racist and left wing Jew who, unlike her detractors, refuses to close her eyes when she sees Israeli racism and oppression v Palestinians!

"In normal times – with a 'normal' government – the approach outlined by David Dimbleby and John Simpson would have been appropriate... the trouble with this is that the Government has been lying to the public – and the BBC has helped it do so" @Baghdaddi

This was a huge problem with the rise of Corbynism too, random violence-thirsty oddbods attaching themselves to your campaign in attempt to bring it into disrepute.

I hope Enough is Enough learn from our mistakes and keep pushing hope, because we need it.

So in this case

Talk "green" until the system/status-quo is threatened - then help spread dis-information - leveraging those fake green credentials.

Shamima Begum was under-age, groomed, trafficked and (in law) raped.
The fact that she was brown and a Muslim enabled our racist tabloids to fan the flames of a lynch-mob mentality, enabling unscrupulous politicians like @sajidjavid to blame the victim.

Shameful and disgusting🤬 twitter.com/zelo_street/status

My MP, Tory, Sarah Atherton, rammed Brexit down the throats of the people of Wrexham - will she now apologise for the lies and broken promises and explain her plans to make up for the EU money that Wales lost?

The £120m “Festival of Brexit” is a flop, attracted only 238,000 visitors instead of the anticipated 66m.

I wonder how many were stuck in queues at Dover, in the 6.7m NHS England waiting list and sewage-packed rivers

Still, Tory cronies got the contract.

The Labour Party are against Nationalising our essential utilities and are for more private capital in the NHS, they don't want a change of governance, just a change of management.

Elizabeth Truss is an anagram of Haziest Bluster.

I didn't sleep very much last night.

Once a business has generated enough revenue to match what was invested in it, plus a reasonable profit (say) - why do the share holders still matter? Why shouldn't they relinquish their shares to the people who do the actual work?

Well, we know why.

And the bosses are proxies for owners so get similar rewards.

Maybe I just don't understand

What do the execs in the big corporations actually do to justify their salaries in the millions?

Business is about knowing how to serve customers repeatably and reliably. The CEO (or whatever) isn't doing the serving, or designing the processes.

So what are they for, in fact?
