If our media outlets can recognise an anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ, pro-nationalist party with shady ties to Russia as ‘far-right’ or ‘fascist’ where it pertains to Italy, it seems a bit fucking weird that they’re so singularly unable to identify this closer to home.

'People who defend the US empire from criticism aren't actually defending the empire, they're defending their worldview. They're staving off the flood of cognitive dissonance they'd experience if they saw that everything they believe about the world is a propaganda-induced lie.' twitter.com/caitoz/status/1574

@pavsmith @embedded_iot @Normanjam671 @KevinPascoe @TWT_NOW Do keep up. The Forde Report established that there was an actual conspiracy to lose the 2017 election by the people who openly told us that a Corbyn win would be a disaster.

You can no longer use the phrase "conspiracy theory" to denigrate what happened.

4th June 2017: “Jeremy Corbyn [as PM] could spark a run on the pound”. Rupert Murdoch’s Times.

26th Sept. 2022: Pound hits a 37 year low against the dollar and keeps falling.

Morning, all.

I think these loons are serious

Everyone should watch the Al Jazeera documentary. I just can’t sit through it. Still makes my blood boil. No, I’ll never get over what they did.

It's fine to be trans, just have a trial period of 2 years then you can get a certificate

It's fine to be trans, you just need to pay for your treatment yourself

It's fine to be trans, but sport...your own categories

It's fine to be trans, but you can't use DV shelters

Tory govt claimed to have no money to give a decent pay rise to public sector workers, fund the NHS, feed hungry children, increase the state pension & Universal Credit.

But magically handed £161bn tax cuts to the richest.

We will never accept that there is no magic money tree.

If you're unclear what's taking place here, the UK government is basically doing to its own country what it used to do to its empire

Unisex changing rooms are fine actually, and are only a problem where they are badly implemented (i.e. without individual lockable cubicles and proper monitoring).

Even when badly implemented, what they are not is proof that trans people don’t deserve equality.

I was just reminded of the Tory "coalition of chaos" lie when they tried to create fear of a progressive coalition.

Thing is

We have the vulture capitalist faction (Mogg)

The UKIP faction (Truss and the other clowns)

Landlord faction

We're already ruled by such a coalition.

Now a Tory schools minister who belittles kids who went to Comprehensive Schools. I went to one, but I’ve never grown up into a despicable gammon who votes to cut disability benefit.
