Insulin is grown in huge vats by modified bacteria for basically no cost. It was the intention of the people who developed this technique that no one who need it ever be without. It does not have any justification costing any amount of money. twitter.com/Kidfears99/status/

And here it comes…neglect the health service and then call the private sector in to “save it”.

Firstly, it’s not the NHS that needs saving. It’s people! People are dying and suffering.

Secondly, the NHS is not failing, it’s being failed.

We need saving from this government!

The front page helpfully illustrates the wider derangement of the UK press. Left: Woman fired after bizarre media campaign compels investigation, was photographed with person who was photographed with person. Right: Far right and extreme far right win power, and that’s fine.

Daniel Radcliffe seems like a sweet, thoughtful, quite softly spoken person and the idea that he is CANCELLING someone by expressing an opposing opinion is a very weird free speech gyration

I’m sure UK news shows can’t wait to raise all this in the morning with the latest Minister rolled out by the Government twitter.com/peterstefanovi2/st

- Nurses real pay down £4,300

- Paramedics real pay down £5,600

- Maternity asst real pay down £3,200

There are no examples from history of a government cutting its way out of recession. Every example we've seen was of governments *spending* their way out of a recession with massive public investment. Post-war, post-Great Depression, etc. Austerity makes recessions worse.

The middle class shot itself in the foot by not voting for Jeremy Corbyn.

The Tory prime minister is just about to ramp up their taxes. Under a Corbyn government they would have paid a modest amount more in tax but would have received far more in return from improved services.

These people have made an immeasurable contribution to our society, to our economy and our culture. Be thankful that Britain welcomed their families. Be proud to be that country.

'No member of the press should be threatened, harassed, attacked, arrested, or killed for doing their job.'

Unless they report US war crimes, Secretary of State?

We have the most lawless, incompetent government for probably 100 years and the fools still peddle this nonsense.

Suella Braverman does NOT represent me, my family, my friends, my colleagues ( past or present ) or any caring, compassionate British person. Braverman does NOT even represent decent people in the Tory party like Sir Roger Gale.

I’ve never supported BOE independence, even Thatcher the Milk Snatcher didn’t. New Labour brought it in without any discussion.

Setting interest rates etc is a political as well as an economic decision.

Politicians should own decisions made. twitter.com/fisherandrew79/sta

@NoContextBrits That so many British politicians, media 'personalities', newspapers editors, & citizens, who are rightly proud of all those who sacrificed so much during WWII, see nothing wrong with parrotting today, the kind of grotesque rhetoric that fascists used in the 1930s. 🇬🇧
