Jeremy Corbyn didn't need it or seek it. It was a spontaneous act generated by a crowd of young people genuinely enthused by a politician for the first time in their lives. Corbyn offered them hope. Starmer offers them more austerity and more of the same neoliberal shit. https://twitter.com/iain4europe/status/1603036369642823680

All this is a slap in the face for a general public already subsidising the bank accounts of the shareholders at rolling stock companies.' https://tribunemag.co.uk/2022/12/rail-nationalisation-public-ownership-transport-christmas

My Sister became a Nurse at age 16 (a Cadet Nurse as they were called then). That was in 1967. She’s 71 now, and still working as an NHS nurse. People like her, with their dedication to duty & caring for others is priceless but nursing salaries have dropped to a level 20.54% below the value they were when the Tories came to power in 2010.
We call it disaster capitalism. Admittedly it’s impressive that they create the disaster. Political evolution.

Tories are excellent at allowing things to break down to a crisis, in order to justify bringing in their awful policies. NHS to be sold off, strikes therefore new legislation preventing strikes, climate crisis to new coal mine, oh, and the fantastic #PPEscandal
