USpol, classism, abortion, white supremacy

Reminder that the broad pro-abortion narrative in this fuckin country is largely controlled by higher class white cis fems who benefit from the imperialism and internal/external colonialism that their patriarchs participate in.

Change the narrative. Make sure they don't take it over, again!

A lot of these high class cis fem groups don't give a shit for Black liberation in the imperial core. They didn't show up for George Floyd, much less Ferguson. They only want their settler benefits. They are not our allies or accomplices (at most, they're momentarily beneficial for us, if needed). They're not gonna risk their status and property for working class white and Black folks who will bear the brunt of state-mandated-births.

Abortion access is a class and race issue. Don't fuckin' forget that.

@ItsTrainingCatsAndDogs@kolektiva.social There's a book called "Richard's Bicycle Book" that I remember helped me a lot.

"An honest Met Gala dress would have a corset made from the bones of Yemeni children, draped with a cloth of stolen gold and lithium spun by the tiny hands of child slaves, with a full-length train that leached oil and blood wherever it went." by @caitoz caitlinjohnstone.substack.com/

"I accidentally broke the law, accidentally took money to do up my flat, accidentally told MPs to vote to let kids go hungry, accidentally commissioned a report to deny structural racism, accidentally let people go into care homes untested & accidentally let 180,000 people die."

“We don’t have to agree with [actual fascists] on everything to work with them on [attacking trans rights].”

Yes, you fucking do, you horrible fucking simpletons. Of course you fucking do.

Where human rights are concerned, there’s no ‘polite disagreement’, no ‘middle ground’.

Johnson: "I put that bin there as Mayor"

Rachel Reeves' admission that she's 'pleased' Jeremy Corbyn isn't prime minister was a betrayal of all those who campaigned for a Labour victory – and the policies they fought for. tribunemag.co.uk/2022/05/rache

your reminder that Keira Bell's lawyer in Bell v. Tavistock, the key anti-trans lawsuit (which hinged on attacking Gillick competency, itself the legal basis for underage access to reproductive healthcare) was and is chiefly an anti-abortion lawyer

RT @Ka81
😔 watched late last night this terrible injustice on women unfold. Seeing this in the "country of the free" is a worrying development.

I just had redo the privacy on this tweet due to the unparalled hate at it 😳

Fight women for everyone. The example matters.

RT @virgosam70
Nadine Dorries has posted a tweet of a SEVEN year old photograph of Keir Starmer having a curry with a dead man which states this photo proves he broke lock down rules.

And she's left it there and not apologised once.

And this individual is a government minister?

RT @SpillerOfTea
“Well, we wouldn’t have HAD to ally with the extreme right wing of US conservative politics if trans people hadn’t FORCED us to by existing and sometimes needing to piss.”

The situation for the Conservative Party is worse than you think. The difficulty lies, however, in explaining how serious it is without falling into the language of hyperbole. So, I shall simply list some developments as dispassionately as I can.

If you vote Labour on Thursday, there will be no £600 off. It's a rhetorical bribe.

The only way to solve the cost of living crisis is by renationalising energy. And Starmer won't do it because he's not on our side.

This Thursday, send a message to Starmer and Johnson. twitter.com/Keir_Starmer/statu

I keep wondering what will happen when the totally overvalued Tesla finally crashes. All those promises suddenly won't be kept.

Probably get bailed out as usual. Then try to switch to luxury car mfr and get slaughtered by the people who know how to actually make luxury cars.

RT @KernowDamo
25 years yesterday since the Labour landslide of 1997 and the Labour right flatly refuse to move on from then. Media pals, donors, continuity Tharcherism, appeasing the left, lack of public scrutiny there were reasons why he got away with it & why Starmer won't .
